Digital Media & Content Strategy Intern

The Digital Media and Content Strategy intern will work closely with our team to develop digital content and communications and imagine ways to engage audiences through creative storytelling on new and existing platforms. The role includes learning and participating in the process of digital content development, from initial ideation to project launch, which includes conceptual planning and content strategy; project management; learning to write and adapt the content in a voice and tone that is customized for various audiences and platforms; participating in UX design and testing possibly; and editing web content according to house style within a content management system.  Assist in managing and creating content for Dikan Center's social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)The ideal intern is currently pursuing or has recently completed and is passionate about creatively communicating complex ideas to multiple audiences. They should also be an excellent writer and an independent self-starter who will be able to hit the ground running to work on individual projects and collaborative cross-departmental initiatives.

 

Development and Communication Intern

This internship offers a special opportunity for a graduate intern to gain hands-on experience in internal and external communications activities. Collaborating with a small, dynamic team, the intern will assist with coordinating and developing internal initiatives that support Dikan’s communication best practices. The internship will provide a rich learning experience of how a communications department supports an educational and art institution. You will have a hands-on experience in grant writing, partnership proposals. Qualifications include knowledge of art history and/or a related field, an understanding of education and the art industry, and strong written and oral communication skills. The ideal intern should also be an independent self-starter who will be able to work on individual projects and collaborative cross-departmental initiatives.
