Full-time, three-month Paid internships are offered at Dikan for recent graduates of bachelor’s or master’s degree programs interested in pursuing or exploring a career in art & education. Dikan Center is seeking passionate and goal-driven individuals to join the interns program in various departments, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects, gain valuable hands-on experience in your chosen field, and most importantly, contribute to making visual education accessible in Africa.
Our internship program offers a unique and immersive experience that will challenge and inspire you to realize your full potential. Our internship program provides the opportunity to learn about the operations of a non-profit visual art institution and work alongside the staff at Dikan and various partners. In addition to departmental work interns participate in weekly professional development activities designed to increase understanding of the Center’s various programs, exhibitions, and departments. This role can lead to National Service placement or permanent employment.
Additional Activities
Interns will be invited to attend workshops that have been organized by the Internship Coordinator, including site visits and lectures as part of the Dikan Internship program. In addition, interns may be asked to assist staff with special events, educational, public programs, and exhibition openings.
